About the conference
Banzarov Buryat State University has the pleasure to invite you to The Second International Scientific Conference “Chinese Studies in the 21st Century” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Banzarov Buryat State University, the 30th anniversary of the Oriental Studies Institute, the 30th anniversary of the Department of Philology of the Far East and the Department of History and Regional Studies of Asian Countries, as well as the 15th anniversary of the Confucius Institute of BSU

Conference format

hybrid format: online, offline.
Conference objective
discussion and analysis of a wide range of theoretical and practical issues in Chinese studies related to the language, literature, history, culture, philosophy, sociology, politics and economics of China. Conference Panels will be formed according to the submitted applications.
Registration fee
for offline participants with a trip to Baikal is 6000 rubles (transportation Ulan-Ude – Gremyachinsk – Ulan-Ude, accommodation, meals). Registration fee may be subject to change. Other participants are exempt from registration fee.
Conference languages

Russian, Chinese, English.
Deadlines
• applications and registration fee (especially important for offline participation with a trip to Baikal) will be accepted until April 27, 2022;
• papers for publication will be accepted until June 15, 2022.

Following the conference, we will publish conference proceedings included in the system of the Russian Scientific Citation Index (RSCI), DOI, and posted on the e-library.ru website. The proceedings will be assigned an international ISBN index.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to select papers for publication.
